Diabetes: Two organs that diabetes like are the kidney and the eye (retina). Specially if diabetes is poorly controlled. Your goal should be fasting sugar 100-120, hga1c <7, blood pressure <130/80. Kidney & eye conditions usually do not have gross symptoms until is very advanced. Trust your doctor and repeat the test in a month. See an eye doctor every year , even if you dont have symptoms.

Many reasons: There are many reasons for decreased renal function besides hypertension and diabetes. Your doctor can explain if fully, but some meds will cause problems and other conditions may be present.

High systolic blood pressure only on right arm. No heart condition no kidney problems and no blockage in any arteries. Stress test also had a high systolic 150-156 over 70-80. Could you please recommend me another test to know the cause?
