What can someone do to prevent a gout incident in right foot from reoccurring?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Allopurinol: See your podiatriist have a base line uric acid exam and if positive be placed on a drug called Allopurinol which is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor and prevents purines in the diet from becoming uric acid. And hence gout.
