Each unique...: Every lung infection is unique to the person. Some lung infections are mild and involve the breathing tubes only (such as mild chronic bronchitis). Other lung infections can involve the lung tissues proper, where oxygen exchange happens (such as pneumonia / pneumonitis) and can be very severe and even life threatening. Prognosis is unique to the person and the organism causing the infection.
