Penicillin: is often not sufficient for bronchial infections which may be due to "gram negative" bacteria. RELAX its NOT serious maybe just an adjustment in your treatment! Contact your Health Care Professional and this adjustment may be done by phone! Hope this helps! Dr Z

More information?: How were you diagnosed? Did you have crackles on auscultation or an X-ray? Penicillin is not a usual choice to treat a chest infection. If you are not improving you should see your primary care provider again.
