is there a good way for me to overcome my fear of medical procedures?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Heidi Fowler
24 years experience Psychiatry
Fear of medical: Procedures is not uncommon. Explain your concerns to your physician and your treatment team so that they can ease you through any procedure you might not need. However, if your fear is excessive consider cognitive behavioral therapy or exposure therapy. Take care.
