Depends on site: Tb infection primarily involves lungs but can also spread to other organs & body sites. Symptoms & progression of disease depends upon your body's immune response. If contained by effective immunity, then infection can become latent, but if it continues unchecked it causes primary TB that spreads across the lungs & causes fever, night sweats, weight loss, cough, phlegm, chest pain etc.
