TB: I highly doubt TB based on your cough history. Prolonged cough, night sweats, fever, especially in the evening, fatigue, weight loss are the common symptoms of tb.

Will list the most: Salient ones . Cough with production of sputum, night sweats , weight loss , tiredness , chest pain , sometimes spitting blood . You may need to see your pcp and sorted out . He can do skin test , x-ray, sputum test and that will tell you the answer to your question.

Here's a few: My wife had tb, &had a cough, nite sweats, later a productive cough, shortness of breath, & later as ssx increased she had wt loss. This was the progression all while the work up proceeded. Chest fluid drained & i insisted that the fluid b spun & the concentrate sent 2 madison wi 2 b cultured tho usually not a good success rate of isolation of the culprit. It was+& with rx she was cured.

Unlikely to be TB: Tb is pretty rare today. Given that you're smoker that's the most likely cause of your cough. Stop smoking! allergies, pneumonia, bronchiti, asthma and many other things can cause a cough.
