To protect children: To ensure that young children do not get exposed to anyone with tb, child care providers (e.g. Those working in daycares or hospitals) are required to get a TB test to ensure that they themselves are not infected with TB & are not at risk for passing on the infection to the children around them. It also helps ensure your health and safety.
