How do i know a tuberculosis test is positive?

Touching the skin: There are 2 TB test. The skin test, ppd, if positive will elicit an induration underneath the skin. If the diameter is 15 mm or larger is positive. If in doubt you can request your physician to order a blood test called quantiferon gold.
