Cushing's disease: Cushing's disease is a condition where the pituitary (tumor) is producing too much acth (adrenalcorticotropic hormone). This hormone stimulates your adrenal glands to produce extra cortisol (stress hormone) which in excess can cause a lot of metabolic problems.
