i am wondering what help is available to those who are feeling suicidal?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Pamela Pappas
42 years experience Psychiatry
Lots of help!: If feeling suicidal, you can go to an er, call 911, call your own doctor or the one on call for him/her, or call the national suicide prevention lifeline at 1-800-273-talk (8255). Sometimes inpatient psychiatric treatment is needed for a time, followed by outpatient treatment which may include both medications and psychotherapy as needed. There is hope, so please get help!
