Docs can you explain what is a degenarative disk in your spine?

See below: The disk is a pad of specialized cartilage in between each vertebrae of your spine. Degeneration means the disk is wearing out and the normal cushion between the vertebrae is disappearing. This degeneration is part of the aging and arthritis process.
