Of course!: The best thing to take for low vit. D is vit. D but it's important to take the d3 form as the d2 form is dangerous! most adults need 5-8, 000 iu/day to attain optimal levels, but in spring & summer you can also get it by spending time in the mid-day sun without sunscreen. If you don't get much sun then take d3 year-round.It's best to take 5-10, 000 iu of vit a & 1mg of vit k too-they work as a team.
