Colds ; Flu: One obvious sign is catching lots of colds and flu due to low immunity. Energy and mood are also effected. Experts say between 50 and 80 is best for d level, but 30 is "low normal." peace and good health.

Mostly silent: Low vitamin d levels are common and usually there are no obvious signs or symptoms. Foremost is the concern of low bone density and thus brittle bones. Bone pain and muscle weakness may be present and there are other conditions thought to be related to low vitamin d levels but these are not proven as yet.
