Do not squeeze it: A "pimple" (pocket of pus in the skin) on the side of one's nose should not be squeezed because if it is located in a certain area, sometimes the pus can go into veins without valves and actually end up in the cnetral nervous system, with severe effects. Use warm soaks and let it go away on its own. If it is not doing that, see a doctor.

See doctor : If the lesion is a boil, seeing a physician for topical and oral antibiotics is important to clear the lesion. If it is an acne cyst, it can also be treated in the office with an injection and/or antibiotics. See a dermatologist for an evaluation.
