Not a "condition": Domestic violence is not a condition, it's a horrible situation in which some people find themselves. Many factors lead both to the violence and to the decision of the victim to stay in that situation. If you are that person, avail yourself of one of the services locally or nationally that can help you realistically assess options to get out of it.

One could have...: As previously noted, it is not a condition in and of itself. However, individuals who are victims of domestic violence can commonly suffer from depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, alcohol or drug problems as a maladaptive way to cope and low self-esteem. Proper diagnosis and psychological treatment is often important. See http://www.Crimevictimhelp.Com.
