Maybe ileus: After abdominal surgery with general anesthesia, it is common for the intestines to be uncoordinated, and not move the fluid and gas through the intestinal tract normally. This causes abdominal dissension, nausea, vomiting, and lack of passing flatus or bowel movements. May need an x-ray to diagnose. Call your surgeon to find out.
