Describe the features of a borderline personality disorder.?

Rapid mood swings: Bpd is a long-term inability to manage strong emotions, coupled with lack of a stable sense of self. Sensitivity to abandonment/rejection, self-harming behavior (suicide gestures), black/white thinking ("splitting"), & fast mood swings are common. Long-term psychotherapy is often difficult but very helpful, & sometimes medications can help treat symptoms of overwhelming feelings in the meantime.

Hallmark: The hallmark of borderline is unstable relationships.

Borderline: Intense unstable interpersonal relationships, chronic emptiness, identity diffusion, rapid mood changes, repeated self-harm, idealization/devaluation, guilt, poor boundaries.

BPD: Chronic pattern of intense unstable interpersonal relationships with idealization & devaluation, along with intense mood changes, chronic feelings of emptiness & boredom , anxiety & depression, with self-injurious behaviors , all severe enough to interfere with daily activities.

Borderline: Intense unstable interpersonal relationships characterized by extreme sense of idealization/devaluation, rapid mood swings, repeated self-harm, dramatic, dissociative states, poor impulse control, episodes of poor reality orientation.

Borderline Personali: Unstable affect/self-image/relationships, chronic feelings of emptiness & boredom, stably unstable (frequent & severe decompensation during crises which others view as minor), self-harm.

Borderline: Intense fear of abandonment, being manipulative, impulsivity, a tendency to think of people and things in all good or all bad terms, self mutilating behaviors, drug and alcohol abuse, sexual impulsivity, a profoundly disturb sense of self, and extreme emotional volatility.
