Unstable/impulsive: A person with this disorder will also often exhibit impulsive behaviors &have the following symptoms: Frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment. Feelings aloness. A pattern of unstable & intense interpersonal relationships which alternate between extremes of idealization & devaluation. Identity disturbance, significant & persistent unstable self-image, suicidal gestures/threats.

Borderline: Intense fear of abandonment, being manipulative, impulsivity, a tendency to think of people and things in all good or all bad terms, self mutilating behaviors, drug and alcohol abuse, sexual impulsivity, a profoundly disturb sense of self, and extreme emotional volatility.
