Rashes around mouth: A number of rashes occur around the mouth. A common one is perioral dermatitis, a relative of rosacea, looks like small red bumps or pustules, which may or may not be scaly, usually on the chin and upper lip. This is actually made worse by moisturizers and cortisone creams and needs prescription topical and sometimes oral medications to control. Please see your dermatologist for diagnosis & tx.
