Variab;e: Bile duct disease can be from an inherited defect, gallstones, and rarely tumors. Upper abdominal pain and pressure, upper abdominal bloating and gas, frequent nausea, and abnormal blood tests can occur. Less commonly yellow jaundice occurs.

Varies: Feature of bile duct disease can vary from no symptom to abdominal pain, jaundice, itching, fatigue, recurrent infection. In late stage it can cirrhosis.
