Yes: Specifically again neisseria meningitides the most dangerous bacteria although there are other bacterial meningitis , we most likely has immunity or been vaccinated.

Yes: There are several vaccines to prevent bacterial meningitis, including pneumoccal bacteria vaccine, meningcoccal vaccine, and h influenza are examples of vaccines that have been shown to reduce the likelyhood of acquiring mbacterial meningitis. However none of the vaccines protect against all strains of bacteria, usually protection is for the most common causes.
