Seek a dentist: This certainly sounds like it could be an infection. Treatment can be with antibiotics and may require dental work. I'd advise seeing your doctor and or dentist asap.

See a dentist.: Before the pain gets much worse, i strongly recommend seeing a dentist for proper diagnosis of the problem. There is no medication that will cure the problem. Pain medication only masks the problem and as the problem worsens, the pain meds will become ineffective.

Infection: Probably. Analgesic will temporarily mask pain, not cure the cause. There is no OTC, poultice, snake oil, or homeopathic that will cure the infection. For that you need either root canal/crown or extraction/implant/crown, probably with antibiotic coverage. Please stop trying to self-treat and seek professional care, the only thing that will work. Call a Dentist now.
