I got my wisdon teeth pulled today so i was thinking of taking reg advil (ibuprofen) before going to bed and if i wake up in pain to take hydrocodon-acetaminoph?

Follow Dr's Rec.: Did your doctor give you post operative instructions as to how to deal with pain? We usually do, so I would suggest following those directions so that everything will turn out well. If he/she stated to take "advil" then fine, if the instructions were to take a prescription medication that was prescribed, then use it as directed. I hope this helps.

Sounds good: Personally I don't like to take lots of medications. So if Advil (ibuprofen) is going to do the job than great. I would do the same. I hope you have a quick recovery.
