Can doctors tell me what does the hospital do if you go for an asthma attack?

Treatments: You get treatments with a nebulizer machine, rehydration, and other intravenous medications such as steroids and sometimes antibiotics. In some serious cases they use a machine to help you breathe.

Depends: This all depends on how bad the attack is and how the patient responds to treatments. Interventions can start with continuous nebulized rescue drugs, intravenous steroids, x-rays to look for an infectious trigger, and others. At some point the attack either subsides and the patient goes home or they transition into the hospital for several days of care.
