Indiana Jones said:: "it's not the age, it's the mileage". Age as of itself should not be an issue in giving chemo if indicated. More important is the general health of the patient. Sadly, as we age we are more likely to have other medical conditions that limit tolerance to treatment but all things being equal, yes, an 80 year old can survive and tolerate chemo.
