A member asked:

Is there any way to have extremely mild hallucinations and not be schizophrenic?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: Hallucinations could be sx of schizophrenia and many other disorders. Psychosis can accompany mental illness, e.g. Depression, schizophrenia, bipolar and some medical conditions. A person also might have a psychotic reaction to some of the medication and drugs as well. If this is a new sx, or if you've already experienced that, but this sx is bothersome, please see your doctor asap.
