Hallucinations: Are probably due to changes in brain functions when someone suffers from schizophrenia. This triggers stimulation in the brain causing visual images that are not really there. Medications help stop these brain malfunctions from happening. This is an oversimplified explanation but i hope it helps you understand this complex phenomenon.
