Not helpful: Earlier removal better prognosis. Leaving a colon lesion may result in obstruction or perforation. A breast Ca may metastasize to nodes or bone. An oral cavity tumor can spread to cervical nodes and many other lesions spread to lung or bone. If lesion treated early without evidence of mets, survival optimized.
