Antibioics may be: Certain antibiotics may help sensitive bacterial infection, but infection could be viral, fungal others which antibiotics wont help.

No: Antibiotics that are prescribed for sinus infections are targeted to the most common bacteria that cause them. Not all antibiotics treat the same type of bacteria.
