Please tell me what anti-biotics are recommended for a sinus infection?

Depends on extent: A true sinus infection should be treated with a quinolone antibiotic such as Avelox or levaquin (levofloxacin).

There are several: There are several antibiotics depending on how severe is the infection. High-dose Amoxicillin or a sulfa antibiotic can be tried first. If the infection is chronic or keeps coming back, you might need to take an antibiotic for 2-4 weeks. Ciprofloxacin or Levofloxacin can be used if the other antibiotics aren't working or you are allergic to the usual antibiotics. Take probiotics too.
