PCOS: Patients with pcos need a thorough evaluation by a physician. The risks of pcos including hypertension, diabetes, cancer, infertility, obesity, abnormal lipids, and pregnancy risks should be discussed. After an exam, labs, and possibly other studies, a treatment plan can be provided.

See your doctor: If you are not having any periods, your doctor will want to determine whether it can be induced. Usually, Progesterone is given for 5-10 days then stopped and within another 5-10 days you should get a period. Sometimes this can jump start things but sometimes additional medication is required to help with ovulation. Things you can start doing now: low carb diet and exercise.
