A member asked:

Trying to concieve for about 1yr i am 20. i got diagnoised with pcos when i was 16. having periods monthly but not gettin pregnant? am i ovulating?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not necessarily: PCOS can prevent ovulation. Monthly periods usually mean that you are ovulating. But can sometimes happen even if you are not ovulating. If you want to know if you are ovulating, you need a blood test around day 21 of your menstrual cycle or you can do an ovulation prediction test at home. Best wishes!
