A 5 years old has hypermobile joints with no diagnosed cause yet. the child has been having severe pain in the bottom of feet and daily wakes up crying a lot. what shouldbe done?

Foot pain: Sorry to hear. Who has seen him so far? It might be prudent to get him evaluated by a foot doctor, possible imaging and bracing needed.

Unstable ankle?: While the DX process is ongoing it is very important to get the child in an accomadative custom orthotic.

Hypermobility: Can cause a lot of foot pain. Have him checked for pes planus and consider a digit custom orthotic. Hope he feels better.
