A member asked:

Why does my pulse decrease when i walk and increase when i stand still?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It doesn't: Heart rate and breathing must increase with exercise. You are describing an artifact of monitoring. Sometime when pulse is slow it gets counted twice. When it speeds up it gets counted once. With a machine it is often worse! so a pulse of 50 gets counted at 100 , rises to 80 with mild exercise and appears to have dropped.
