I would predict not: My prediction is based largely on your age. You may have PSVT (paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia) and some testing may need to be done. It is usually not linked to serious underlying heart disease nor is it life-threatening. More often unpredictable tachycardia is linked to associated heart disease in older people. I believe likely safe to pursue as out-patient in you. Good wishes:)
