Torn ligaments: If you have torn and are currently healing the damaged ligament it is possible that you may have higher than normal incidence of midfoot arthritis and potential deformity. If your foot is in poor functioning position or you are still having pain, surgical intervention maybe warranted. But shoegear inserts may also help if you are having discomfort.

Yes : But it may require a fusion of part or most of the lisfranc joint where the metatarsals meet the tarsal bones this can turn out well but it is a significant surgical undertaking.

MRI: Does the MRI confirm torn ligament? If there is evidence of torn ligament at this time then fixing it is possible.

This is a long time : To still not be sure if it is torn. An MRI should of been performed to tell you. X-rays would help determine any shifting of bone. This is a serious injury if you have it with potentially devastating sequela. I'm really not sure how there is still a question of a tear?

Yes: Need MRI to determine if it is indeed the lisfranc and if so it can be repaired. Best of luck to you.
