Get reassurance from: 2 or 3 doctors in your area and discuss your issues with them. Some drs are dropping insurances because of poor compensation. I'm not sure if this is your particular issue but nevertheless facing reality head on should calm some of your fears. Best wishes !

That depends: I see that you are o effexor (venlafaxine). Is fear of abandonment a more general issue in your life than just fear of health care providers giving up on you? If it is, the answer will be to address that pattern within yourself. Some people look to physicians to fill dependency needs & feel abandoned when the physician can not. When that is the case, lowering expectations will help.
