Probably not: A Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud (i'm presuming) contains a hormone to thin out the lining of the uterus which can lead to lighter or no periods while it is in place. It may take up to six months after iud removal for menstrual periods to become more regular and settle back into a baseline cycle length.
