I had 102-103 temp for 4 days. my physician diagnosed the issue as a viral infection, and asked me to get rest. fever gone, i now have a sinus infection still, and constant goose bumps on chest/arms?

Likely the 'flu'.: You are having fluctuations in temperature because you are still fighting the infection and winning; but it takes time. Meds like tylenol (acetaminophen) change your internal temperature making you sweat some as it's effect begins, then goose bumps as it leaves and your body temp rises again slightly. Drink lots of water, > 8 cups/d. No sugary food/drinks. Whole foods-veges, fruit, legumes whole grains help.
