Colon cancer screen: Colon cancer is preventable. Any man or woman above the age of 50 years should get screened for colon cancer. Anyone with a family history of colon cancer or polyps should get screened 10 years earlier than their family members with a polyp or cancer. Anyone with gynecological cancers should get screened for colon cancer. Regarding testicular cancer, there are no guidelines.

MD: You are quite young and contrary to testicular cancer, colon cancer is not common in your age group. That said, it is not impossible so if you have GI symptoms, visit your doc and see if he/she recommends a colonoscopy. If you have an oncologist, make sure he/she knows about this too. Best to you.
