Can't predict: I might choose comfort measures only for myself, and spend my last few days or weeks finishing up what i could. Someone else might choose aggressive management with something avant-garde and last five years. What i hope is that you will cherish whatever time you have left with this person.

In general...: Stage 4 colon cancer patients have only a 5% 2 yr survival rate. There's no way to better define an individual's life expectancy. Good luck to all involved.
