Bruising: Actually, bruising is quite normal after surgery. Your body's ability to clot blood after surgery is what factors into this finding. Excessive activity after surgery may also result in some bruising around the surgery site. Minimally invasive surgery seems to cause a bit of this around the small incisions since a cautery cannot be used as precisely when the incision is not opened widely.
