I had decompression and fission done on l5 and s1 it was done 2feb 2016. now i get a stabbing pain from where the operation was done going down my buttocks in to my left leg. is it something to worry about. my right leg also pains and goes numb ?

Need Imaging: MRI with contrast would be most helpful to see scar tissue, nerve entrapment and disc pathology. You must be a candidate for exposure to magnetic fields (no metal fragments in the eye, no certain implanted things, etc). Would need decent kidney function too. CT is complementary to see bone and bone graft from a fusion. Until more info is available, no one can say prognosis or treatment.
