Probably normal: The Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud is designed to keep the lining of the uterus thin, which is touted as one of the benefits in reducing or eliminating menstrual periods. It will take a cycle or two for the lining of the uterus to build back up to normal. No period for six months would be a cause for evaluation.
