I'm very sorry: I'm very sorry because likely either you or an individual you care about is affected by this cancer. No physician has a crystal ball, but tumor type, size, and patient's health condition all play a role. Some non-small cell lung cancers may have genetic mutations (EGFR, Alk, Ros) that may be sensitive to "targeted therapies" which may prolong, but are unlikely to cure the disease. Good luck!
