EF normal: An ejection fraction of 75% is very good, actually high normal. Mitral valve prolapse is not normal, but very common and usually harmless. Because it is associated with leakage of the valve, this will need to be followed up with a repeat echo in a year, then every 2-3 years if it remains stable.

Needs followup: The ejection fraction (ef) is upper end of normal- or a bit above - probably because of the effect of the regurgitation.
