No : Hemopericardium is caused by bleeding into the sac that encases the heart. High blood pressure is not a cause. Trauma, malignancy, infection, and diseases of deficient platelets or clotting factors are the causes. Sorry about your mum. Hope this information gives you some closure or reassurance.
