Lichen Planus: There aren't any home remedies that a very effective for this condition. You can try cortisone cream twice a day x 1-2 weeks. If there is no improvement, see your dermatologist.

No good home remedy: Lichen planus pigmentosus is an inflammatory condition of the skin that sometimes responds to strong topical medications, but often requires not only topicals but oral meds as well. Please see your dermatologist.
