Evaluation Needed: It could be connected but it could not be connected as well. I'd go back to the doctor to be evaluated to at least see if the surgery caused the pain.

Possible: May have something to do with straining to maintain position while oral surgeon extracted the teeth. Tension and stress can have this effect on adjacent muscles.
